Cigarettes After Sex is an American pop and rock band founded by Greg Gonzalez and formed in El Paso, Texas, in 2008. They are known for their dream-like musical style and songs about romance and love. While marketed as an ambient pop band, Cigarettes After Sex are also considered to be a rock band of the sub-genres shoegaze, slowcore and indie rock.
